It had all of the hallmarks of a title celebration. The freshly-minted commemorative T-shirts, the streams of flying beer, the total stadium (for the primary time in an Allianz Enviornment version of this fixture for two-and-a-half years), beating opponents of title to complete the job and the remaining.

This was historic, as Bayern Munich clinched a tenth successive Bundesliga title. But it felt unusually empty, a sensation that couldn’t wholly be put down both to the current dumping out of the Champions League or simply plain previous overfamiliarity.
